Academic excellence is not enough to get into a top college. High test scores and grades are just one factor the admissions committee uses to determine whether to admit or reject a student. Competitive colleges are increasingly looking for students who will make a positive impact at the school and will be “superstars” following graduation. In order to determine whether a student fits such a profile, colleges look for specific talents and traits reflected in the following:
The Admissions Experts was established to help students clearly convey to the admissions committee that they are “superstars.” We have a proven method of helping students stand out from the thousands of other students with similar or higher test scores and grades. We work one-on-one with students to help them discover, enhance, and showcase their unique talents to the admissions committee.
Our Method
The Admissions Experts uses a proven 4-Step method for getting students into Ivy League colleges and other top schools, which is provided in detail below.
1. College Matching The Admissions Experts uses its own proprietary software (created by a Cornell University educated engineer) to help identify and to select appropriate colleges based on a number of academic variables (including grades, class rank, SAT I score, ACT score, SAT II scores, rigor of class curriculum, etc) and non-academic variables (including location, class size, social atmosphere, public/private, etc).
2. Talent Assessment
We then evaluate a student’s talents, skills, achievements, and abilities. This allows us to discover unique talents that competitive colleges value in admissions applications.
3. Talent Strengthening
After assessing a student’s strengths, we identify ways for the student to further bolster his talents. By doing this, the student becomes a much stronger candidate for admissions.
4. Talent Highlighting
Finally, we help students STAND OUT from the thousands of other qualified students applying to the same college. We do this by strategically guiding students through the application process, preparing them for their admissions interviews, providing advice on admissions essays and much
more.
