 Jon Palmer (BS/JD/MBA) After years of helping friends and family gain admission into Ivy League colleges and other competitive schools, Jon founded The Admissions Experts to help students gain admission to selective colleges. Jon thoroughly understands the admissions process at top schools, having earned his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, as well as his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Emory University. Prior to founding The Admissions Experts, Jon worked at the international law firm, Schulte Roth & Zabel, where he worked with private equity firms and investment banks in the area of Executive Compensation. Janet Heinis (BSW/MA) Janet has over 25 years of experience in education and admissions, including Ivy League universities, national universities, small private colleges, and non-coed colleges. As a former senior admissions officer at Cornell University, Janet thoroughly understands the admissions process at Ivy League colleges. While at Cornell, Janet was responsible for coordinating admissions over the entire Middle Atlantic and Southeast regions. In addition, Janet was Senior Associate Director of Admissions at Rutgers University. She also served as a senior admissions officer at several private colleges. Janet holds a Masters in Sociology from East Tennessee State University. QUALIFICATIONS

Anisha Mukundan (BS/JD) Having attended high school in both the United Arab Emirates and Singapore, Anisha truly understands the challenges facing international students applying to US colleges. Anisha attended United World College for high school and earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Following high school, Anisha attended Cornell University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Anisha went on to law school in New York City and upon graduating, attained a position at one of the largest law firms in the world. Anisha is dedicated to helping international students gain admissions to competitive US colleges. |
Celia Kujala (AB, Fulbright Scholar) As director of college excellence, Celia is dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence at their chosen college. Celia graduated from Dartmouth College, Summa Cum Laude (Top 5% of class) with an AB in economics. She was selected as both a Presidential Scholar and a Fulbright Scholar and was selected as one of only four students at Dartmouth to study abroad at Oxford University. As part of her Fulbright fellowship, she studied in Finland at the University of Helsinki. While at Dartmouth, Celia was a member of the National Collegiate Figure Skating Champion Team and was inducted into Wearers of the Green (Dartmouth’s Athletic Hall of Fame). |
